Before or After the Wedding Weekend

  • You are welcome to turn the trek to our wedding into a vacation! The mountains of Colorado are a great place to be in the summer. Several people are planning to arrive early or stay later. Personally, our plan is to arrive around Wednesday, July 16, and leave on Monday, July 21 (these plans are tentative, due to our undetermined honeymoon plans and undetermined employment start dates).
  • You are welcome to stay at Sunshine Mountain Inn or Meeker Park Lodge by booking your own reservations. Please note that the rates at Sunshine Mountain Inn will be higher than they will be Friday or Saturday night (since we are renting out the entire place on those two nights).
  • Breakfast would still be provided at Sunshine Mountain Inn or Meeker Park Lodge, but you would be on your own for lunch and dinner.

Warning:

  • Once you go 8,000 ft. above sea level, you’re at risk for altitude sickness. We’ll be at approximately 8400 ft. The best thing you can do is to drink plenty of water and don’t exert too much physical effort at the beginning of your trip. If you need more information to fuel your hypochondria, visit the Family Doctor website.

A Small Request:

  1. Please mail us a piece of fabric that you like. The size can be as small as 1′ x 1′ or as big as 3′ x 3′. It will be incorporated into our wedding ceremony.

  2. If you stubbornly insist that a gift is necessary, you are welcome to view our registry by clicking on the link below. But honestly, your presence is more than enough. We’re not kidding!
